Blogging world is as wide as the universe and still growing and developing. Every day there are new bloggers coming to light and becoming a full-time blogger has never been more possible. And more difficult. As a blogger myself I like to get my inspiration from other people and their websites. I’m always on the lookout for new blogs to read. Every now and then I come across a blog that speaks to me on so many levels that I just have to read every single post on there. And then bookmark it because I don’t want to lose it in the midst of all the tabs I’ve got open on my laptop. At the moment I am obsessed with 4 incredibly talented ladies who have a very honest and relatable outlook on life. Here are the 4 bloggers you should be following right now.
Paula is one of the first bloggers I came across when I got into blogging. Her website pulled me in so much that I stayed glued to it for around 5 days just browsing her content. I find it even easier to relate to her as she’s my fellow Polish woman living in a foreign country. Paula started her blog when she was suffering from depression as a way to keep herself busy and occupied. What started as a beauty blog then grew into so many more niches and now Thirteen Thoughts is a web space where you can find blogging and photography tips, beauty reviews and my favourite section ‘Girl Talk’. Paula is not afraid to talk about controversial topics like societal pressure on women to have children as quickly as possible or struggles of learning self-love. This girl has got it all.
A little message from Paula’s ‘About’ page to convince you she’s the real deal:
“This little corner of the Internet isn’t just mine, it’s yours, too. My goal here is to help you feel more confident, happy and love yourself as much as possible. Remember that you are meant to have an AMAZING life.”
If you’re not convinced yet, she takes beautiful black and white themed photos (like the ones in this post, Paula was kind enough to share free stock photos with her readers) and I am completely in love with them.
bky. is my source of topics I can’t find anywhere else and reading about things I didn’t even know I needed. What you’ll find there are funny posts about struggles the 20-somethings face in their lives including moving in with your partner and making a rented accommodation feel like your space. Becky is also an eBay junkie and can find some beautiful pieces on there. Her posts make me giggle so hard I snort my tea/coffee/whatever liquid I’m drinking at the time of reading. Very relatable and honest Becky found her way into my heart and I’m confident she’ll stay there for long.
Sophie is a beautiful human being. I mean it. She appeared in my life just at the right time. I was lost, without a job, bored out of my head and felt like my life peaked at my graduation and it was just going to go downhill from there. And then Sophie came into the light with her story. She beautifully explained why changing your career in the early twenties is perfectly fine and how confidence crisis can happen on pretty much everyday basis. I love her blog because it’s so raw and honest. Sophie speaks the truth about life, all its ups and downs and everything in between.
If I couldn’t read, I’d love this blog purely on the base of Lily’s gorgeous flatlays. But it’s not just the photos I keep turning up for. This beauty and lifestyle blog is everything you can wish for. Afterall, Lily won so many awards for a reason. If I’m looking for anything in beauty, this blog is the first place I check out for suggestions and reviews. Lily is also my makeup inspiration providing looks for every occasion you may need (she’s even got a firework inspired look). Apart from beauty posts, you can find great fashion hauls (there’s even a shop the look page with some gorgeous clothes) and lifestyle topics including some very helpful blogging tips and tricks.
These 4 ladies are making my life so much more interesting. I have learnt a lot and laughed a lot and I’m sure there are still loads of interesting posts waiting to be written by them. Personally, I can’t wait to read them. Let me know if you check out their blogs and what you think!
I know there are many more bloggers out there who I need to discover. Whether you’re a newbie blogger or an experienced one don’t hesitate to leave me your blog links in the comments so I can check them out. Let’s spread some love!
Until next time xx
