My holy grail hair care products

My holy grail hair care products

Hair… We love it, we hate it, we can’t live without it. As much as we can’t stand any body hair, we do out best so that the hair on our heads looks its best. I love going to the hairdresser to give my hair a treatment it deserves,ย because, let’s face it, I put it through a lot of crap. Unfortunately for me (and my hair) I cannot afford to do treat it once a week or so. I can’t even treat myself once a month, let alone separate body parts. But a girl’s gotta do, what a girl’s gotta do so I work my hardest to achieve similar results at home with amazing, but affordable hair care products. If you put your hair through loads of styling leaving it dry and prone to splitting and falling out, you’re in the right place. We’re about to fix it.

If you have really damaged hair and need a product that will fix it quicklyย – I found a perfect hair mask that saved my hair last year. You can read more about it here. But if your hair doesn’t need a CPR so fast, but could do with a bit of a facelift (or hair-lift in this case), then these hair care products might be just what you’re missing in your life.My holy grail hair care products

L’Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Clay Shampoo and Conditioner

L’Oreal is quickly becoming my favourite beauty brand. I am a big fan of their clay range. I’m guilty of over-washing my hair which can leave it a bit dry, but thanks to the combination of three clays in this shampoo and conditioner I can reverse the damage that’s already there. Thanks to these products my hair looks a lot healthier and my scalp doesn’t get dry and flaky. My hair has visibly lifted and looks more alive. Long gone are the bad hair days when I looked like I slept in hay and woke up with straws stuck in my head. With their creamy light texture, both the shampoo and conditioner are easy to apply. The scent is just gorgeous and lasts for a really long time, which is a cherry on top if you ask me.

My holy grail hair care productsL’Oreal Elvive Full Restore 5 Damaged Hair Mask

I use hair masks religiously every time I wash my hair. It took me a while to find a hair mask that would give me similar reviving results as my favourite Eveline hair mask. This one is the closest I could find and I am very pleased with the results. It makes my hair feel a lot smoother and look more sleek. The packaging promises to give you great results and restore the health of your hair using Active Serum, Pro-Keratine and Ceramide. I may not know a lot about what exactly they do, they sound very powerful. Using this hair mask on top of the other products makes my hair very silky and shiny. I can feel the difference even in the shower right after I wash it off. So not only does it work, it works fast which is what the impatient side of me likes to see.

My holy grail hair care productsSchwartzkopf Got2Be Oil-licious Tame & Shine Styling Oil

I have been obsessed with this hair oil for years now. It works wonders on my hair making it look sleek and shiny. I use it on both wet and dry hair and never had problems with it looking dirty or greasy. It just seems to sink into each and every hair nourishing it from the inside. I love the fact that you can use it before washing your hair for an extra touch of love and moisture as well as damp and dry hair for some help and protection with styling. And it smells divine! My holy grail hair care products

Ziaja Soothing Hair Serum with Argan and Tsubaki Oil

I don’t remember when exactly I became so into oil-based products. I never liked the weird oily feeling it can leave on my fingers so I’m always a bit reluctant about buying new oily products. This hair oil is so similar, but at the same time so unlike the Schwartzkopf one. It has a very light colourless texture and gentle smell. Apart from repairing dry and split hairs, it also acts as a heat protector which is a big plus. I use it along the above one as I’m not completely convinced it nourishes my hair enough but it is cheaper than any other heat protecting spray so I’m sold.My holy grail hair care productsI definitely put my hair through a lot with all the styling, but I always try and make sure I treat it right and give it the right protection. After all, I want it to look its best for as long as possible. With these 5 products, I can feel my hair springing back to life and I know I have found products I will be coming back to for a very long time. Show your hair some love and it will love you back!

Until next time xx

I need to try the L’Oreal shampoo and conditioner – they sound perfect for my hair type! I’d recommend trying the Garnier hair masks as well, I have 4 of them and use them all religiously – the avocado one is my favourite. A must have hair product of mine is actually a hair turban by Aquis. Ever since I started using it a year ago my hair has looked and felt so much healthier ๐Ÿ™‚ x

I need to try the hair turban! Everyone seems to have one whilst I still wrap my hair in my massive towel. So far I’ve tried Garnier olive oil mask but haven’t been able to find it in any shop anymore!

I want to try the Schwartzkopf Got2Be Oil-licious Tame & Shine Styling Oil I always avoid oils on my hair but I need to start putting something back into it. I use heat protector and dehumidifying sprays but never oils!

It took me a while to figure out a good oil to hair ratio but as long as you apply it to the bottom half of your hair it shouldn’t be greasy at all! And it makes my hair feel so smooth and sleek <3

I’ve abandoned my hair so much, I’ve literally not had a haircut in over a year and it hasn’t been dyed or anything. I rarely use heat on my hair because I hate blow drying it and styling it, it usually ends up in a bun on top of my head to be honest, haha. But recently I’ve started doing a hair mask once a week and it’s really helped me to love my hair again and spend a bit more time on its appearance. I’m loving the Garnier ones at the moment! Also, the L’Oreal shampoo & conditioner you’ve mentioned are literally my fave shampoo & conditioner, they’re so good for my hair type! x

I love them! I used to use Garnier but my hair didn’t seem to like it very much. I hate blowdrying my hair and always let it air dry because I can’t be bothered ๐Ÿ˜›

Overnight hair mask could work wonders as well, I don’t think I have ever found one I was interested in enough to buy it though. I keep looking and am open to suggestions!

I’m such a huge fan of L’oreal hair products! They always make my hair feel so soft and look so shiny, I definitely think they’re worth the price! I love using a spray on oil after the shower too, OGX has been my go to since receiving it in a monthly beauty box, the one you’ve listed here sounds gorgeous too! I’m always looking for new ways to make my hair look nice as I always feel like its a frizz ball!

I’ve never used OGX, may need to try it out soon! A spray on oil sounds like a good product as I wouldn’t have oily hands after applying it!
