4 beauty mistakes the teenage me is guilty of

January 20, 2018 in Beauty
beauty mistakes Being a teenage girl is all fun and games until you realise that all your friends started to wear makeup. And until one day you start bleeding out of your vagina, but that’s a different story.   I was, quite possibly, one of the last girls in my year to start wearing makeup. First of all,

How to be productive and stay motivated

January 17, 2018 in Lifestyle
be productive and stay motivated January, despite not really being any longer than other months of the year, always seems to drag ridiculously. At least to me. It never mattered whether I was at school, working or stuck at home – it still felt like the time slowed down. With the days still very short and its cold weather but

Life is boring. So what?

January 9, 2018 in Lifestyle
Life is boring. So what? I’m going to share with you the biggest truth about life. Well… it’s boring. That’s right. But it’s not really a bad thing. Everyone’s life, no matter how big or small, gets boring. I’ll go as far as to say that even Beyonce’s life is boring, but probably less so than others simply because she’s

Make this year your year and feel happy

January 3, 2018 in Lifestyle
Make this year your year and feel happy We’re officially in 2018 now. Super close to 2020, very far away from 2010 which I’ve only just realised a couple of days ago and felt really dizzy because I still tend to think that ’10 years ago’ means the year 1999. I’m not the biggest fan of the start of a new year. Yes,

December 10, 2017 in Lifestyle
Survival guide: Christmas dinner edition With Christmas in just over two weeks, everyone’s excitement is gradually growing. We’re all excited to see our relatives, cuddle family pets and, well, eat and drink so much that we can’t even breathe. I’m definitely excited for all of that. Especially the latter. If you’re a student or unemployed on a tight budget, you’ll know

How to stick to your New Year’s resolutions

December 5, 2017 in Lifestyle
New Year's resolutions When I was little I used to think that New Year’s Eve was one of the most magical nights of the year. To me, changing the number in a year in my school notebook sounded like we were literally jumping into a different eternity. Starting a new life. Getting new chances. Having new opportunities.  As

Hello there!

Hello there!

I'm a 25-year-old girl trying to find her feet in this world, mostly by being clumsy, saying things I shouldn't say and eating my body weight in chocolate. Apart from that I tend to ramble about beauty hacks that can save us all time, life tricks for easy university life and most random things you can think of. Welcome to my crib. MORE

Forever looking for forest fairies 🧚🏼 and ev Forever looking for forest fairies 🧚🏼 and even though it looks like it's going to rain for the rest of the year now, I'm glad I can finally put some clothes on without having to deal with boob sweat.

On another note: after 8 months, I'll finally get to hug my family in 3 weeks! It's the longest I've ever gone without seeing them and I can definitely feel that. Video calls are great but in no way do they compare to actually being with the ones you love. So even though I'm absolutely terrified of getting on a plane during a pandemic, I wouldn't be able to last any longer without a mental breakdown.

We'll, partially because even though I love it and I cried when I put it on, I still wanted to come back home and think about it. That's on being an anxiety-driven decision-maker. In all honesty though, if my personality was a dress, that would be it! Is it acceptable to live in a wedding dress for the rest of my life? Because I might just do that.
