The crippling world of self-doubt and SAD

October 8, 2018 in Lifestyle
SAD Remember, remember… that one day in September when everything just stopped making sense and my motivation decided to move to a warmer country for the winter. The trees are losing their leaves, I’m losing the willpower to get out of bed in the morning. Sure, I’m as excited for cosy evenings and chunky knitwear as

Earn extra money without much effort

August 21, 2018 in Lifestyle
extra money The older I get, the more I realise how much I took having money for granted when I was younger. Sure, I didn’t need much as a teenager apart from my laptop connected to wifi and a phone with enough credit on it to text my friends. I never had to worry about food in

How to look after your feet in this heat?

August 7, 2018 in Beauty
look after your feet Summer is in full spring and so far it looks like the heat wave is here to stay forever. Or at least until October from what I’ve heard. I’m secretly praying that September has slightly more bearable temperatures. Don’t get me wrong, I live for sunny weather and summer, but 32 degrees every day in

The ultimate gift ideas for any guy in your life

June 24, 2018 in Lifestyle
gift ideas for any guy This post is sponsored by L’Occitane. All opinions are my own and are not influenced by anyone else. I’m not sure if it’s just me, but I always find it so difficult to buy gifts for men. Whenever I want to (or have to) get someone a present, I want it to have a meaning

The new stress-free way of making friends with Pal

May 21, 2018 in Lifestyle
making friends This post is sponsored by Pal. Despite that, all of my opinions are my own and I have tried the app myself in order to write an honest review on it. I used to take making friends for granted. In a nursery or on the playground you see kids meet new friends all the time.

The struggle of finding the work-life balance

April 7, 2018 in Lifestyle
Finding the work-life balance Okay, time for a little life update. After being unemployed for a year (very long 52 moneyless weeks), I actually managed to get myself a job. About time, right? And while I wasn’t extremely happy with it at the beginning, I absolutely love the people I work with and wouldn’t change it for the world.

I’m sorry, did that offend you?

March 20, 2018 in Lifestyle
I'm sorry, did that offend you? At least once I week I get incredibly surprised by the fact that you can offend people by everything nowadays. Literally everything. Not so much offline as online, but the impact of this trend is magnificent. In the world that screams DIVERSITY everywhere and promotes being open-minded, people seem to be doing the exact opposite.

Sleep anxiety and how to deal with it

March 10, 2018 in Lifestyle
Sleep anxiety and how to deal with it Sleep is something we all take for granted. We do it every night (more or less) and it seems to be as effortless as breathing. No one thinks about falling asleep, we just do it when our heads hit the pillows. Formed in a duvet burrito we can forget about everything and just dream and

The non-cheesy ways to say ‘I love you’

February 7, 2018 in Lifestyle
The non-cheesy ways to say 'I love you' Disclaimer: This post is a collaboration with a brand. I was kindly gifted the item in exchange for a review. All of the opinions are my own and are not biased. There are three kinds of people in the world. The ones who cannot stand Valentine’s Day, moan about the extremely cheesy cards and gifts

My holy grail hair care products

January 27, 2018 in Beauty
My holy grail hair care products Hair… We love it, we hate it, we can’t live without it. As much as we can’t stand any body hair, we do out best so that the hair on our heads looks its best. I love going to the hairdresser to give my hair a treatment it deserves,Β because, let’s face it, I put it

Hello there!

Hello there!

I'm a 25-year-old girl trying to find her feet in this world, mostly by being clumsy, saying things I shouldn't say and eating my body weight in chocolate. Apart from that I tend to ramble about beauty hacks that can save us all time, life tricks for easy university life and most random things you can think of. Welcome to my crib. MORE

Forever looking for forest fairies 🧚🏼 and ev Forever looking for forest fairies 🧚🏼 and even though it looks like it's going to rain for the rest of the year now, I'm glad I can finally put some clothes on without having to deal with boob sweat.

On another note: after 8 months, I'll finally get to hug my family in 3 weeks! It's the longest I've ever gone without seeing them and I can definitely feel that. Video calls are great but in no way do they compare to actually being with the ones you love. So even though I'm absolutely terrified of getting on a plane during a pandemic, I wouldn't be able to last any longer without a mental breakdown.

We'll, partially because even though I love it and I cried when I put it on, I still wanted to come back home and think about it. That's on being an anxiety-driven decision-maker. In all honesty though, if my personality was a dress, that would be it! Is it acceptable to live in a wedding dress for the rest of my life? Because I might just do that.
