Chin up, buttercup! 🌼 In case you need to hear it today - the value of your life is not measured by your assignment scores, successful baking attempts or the to-do lists you did or didn't tick off. Just because social media is mostly used to showcase other people's highlights, it doesn't make your life any less valuable.

I repeat that to myself on a daily basis.

Somewhere over the rainbow, there's a place where using beautiful planners and calendars still makes sense 🌈 Yet I still write to-do lists that include taking a shower, eating dinner, reading etc. It helps to know when I last showered when I can't even tell what day of the week it is anymore 😂

Easter egg fun 🐣 decorating eggs is downright my favourite Easter tradition. I have always loved the creative process behind it, even if most years my eggs looked like a two-year-old drew on them. Last year I finally accepted my defeat (basically got bored with painting stick figures) and started dying them instead. And I love it! It can be done with the proper egg dyes, but even with the quarantine happening, you can have fun with stuff in your cupboards. Tumeric is great for yellow eggs. Purple cabbage will give you blue colour (weird but true). Beetroot turns the eggs red/pink and coffee leaves a brown tinge. Just boil the mixtures with your eggs inside for around 10 minutes, add a few spoons of vinegar and chill until you're happy with the colour. So easy, yet so effective 😊

This time last year, I was covered in cat hair and stuffing my face with chocolate. This year, I haven't even got an Easter egg yet. Am I going to get any amidst all the shopping bonanza? Will the Mini Eggs be worth queuing for hours? I guess we'll have to wait to find out. I'm secretly hoping to grab enough chocolate to last me until 2021 when it's half price after Sunday.

Enjoy the sunshine... From indoors 😁

Over the past two weeks, I realized how much in my life I take for granted. McDonald's. Coffee shops. Places to take Instagram shots at. Even the little things like toilet paper and pasta 😂 I swear as soon as this whole thing is over, I'm buying a plane ticket and going travelling for 6 months. Who's with me?
In all seriousness though, I hope everyone is doing okay all things considered. Remember that my DMs are always open if you need to talk. It will be over! Until then we can sit in our comfies, enjoy slower lifestyle and find happiness in something new every day.
